We are excited to announce we will be moving forward with our summer camps this year!
We will be following all of the Oregon Health guidelines which are provided from the Public Health Division & Governor Kate Brown for COVID-19. These include operational guidelines (contact tracing requirements), screening for symptoms (including temperatures being taken at morning drop offs), physical distancing, cleaning/disinfecting, and camps consisting of no more than 10 campers (not to exceed 12 campers by July & August).
Due to the above guidelines, we will be making some changes to this year's summer programs. We will only be offering day camps, as we will be shortening camp hours to 9:30-4:30pm. Campers w!II be required to bring a sack lunch; however, we will be offering a fun afternoon snack. Fees for day camps will remain the same, as our camp sizes will be cut in half from our regular camp programs. Because of these changes, campers will receive a significant amount of more personalized time with one on one instruction during riding, as well as smaller counselor to camper ratio for group activities.
As we are taking the set guidelines very seriously, we also want to assure our campers that we have a multitude of educational and fun activities planned! In these stressful times, being out in a country setting with fresh air and horses is a great place for the kids this summer!
"I'm going to have one happy 9 yr. old! I'll have you know we cancelled Disney in June, which she was ok with as long as horse camp was still on! Ya'll take precedence over Disney!" Melissa Eaton
